2025 CTA Team Canada - World Transplant Games Dresden, Germany Bursaries

  • The CTA is proud to be offering a number of bursaries this year to support our transplant recipients and living donors participate in the World Transplant Games in Dresden, Germany this summer.

  • Applicants must:

    • Demonstrate an ongoing association with the Canadian transplant community

    • Have received an organ transplant or is an organ donor

    • Have plans to compete at the World Transplant Games 2025 in Dresden, Germany

    • Be committed to giving back to their community

    • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident at time of selection and living in Canada

  • Applicants are asked to complete the online form and complete the short essay.

    • Consider your transplant story.

    • How do you continue to engage with the Canadian transplant community going forward?

    • Have you attended a CTA Event (including Canadian and World Transplant Games)? If so, please describe you experience and what you enjoyed most? If not, what are you most looking forward to?

    • What sport(s) do you plan to compete in for the World Transplant Games in 2025?

    • What events or initiatives would you like to see more of from the Canadian Transplant Association?

  • The CTA board has formed an awards committee objective applicant reviewers. After the deadline of April 1, they will meet to determine the appropriate awardees in each of the available categories.
