Celebrating 50 Years of LIFE!
On Sunday, June 9, Larry & Bev Kreklewich of Melville, Saskatchewan are hosting the Canadian Transplant Association’s “Transplant Trot” to honor the 50th Anniversary of Larry’s successful kidney transplant.
The life-saving surgery that Larry received on October 9, 1974 gifted him with 50 years of health, a life that gave him the opportunity to marry, have a successful career, raise his children, and retire to a peaceful life in rural Saskatchewan.
Larry’s family wants to celebrate this milestone in his life with you. This Transplant Trot is their way of showing gratitude to Larry’s donor family, and to all donor families who make the lives of transplant recipients possible.
Join us at Melville Community Works on Sunday, June 9 at 10 am for this very special Transplant Trot.
Please register below so we know how many people to expect. Cash donations are optional but welcomed with our gratitude.
If you can’t come to Melville perhaps you could go for a walk in your community to show your support for all those waiting for their ‘gift of life’, those who have been donors and those of us who have been blessed with a transplant. If you are unable to walk, please keep all of us in your thoughts and prayers.
Larry is a member of and a Provincial Director for the CTA, the Canadian Transplant Association. This organization brings recipients together along with the living donors and donor families to celebrate LIFE. CTA provides support for our members.
An email with specific details of what to bring and schedule of the day be sent in late May and this event page will also be updated!
